TEC had organized a Joint Development Coordination Committee-Subcommittee (DCC-SC) and Manufacturer Forum Meeting dated 16th December for the Revision of TEC Standard “Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) for Wireless Communication Devices used in close proximity of human body”.
The draft of the standard with inputs from the industry stakeholders was discussed in the meeting. C-PRAV submitted many comments that were discussed at this meeting. Further inputs are sought by TEC that will be discussed in a follow up meeting on this topic.
