NCCS has announced the issuance of Voluntary Security Certification (VSC) scheme for IP Routers and Wi-Fi CPEs with effect from September 1st, 2023. Under VSC, the Administrative Fee and Security Test Evaluation Fee payable to NCCS has been waived till further notice or 31st December, whichever is earlier.
Interested OEMs can apply for VSC in offline mode with duly filled applications and test reports as per the format prescribed by NCCS.
The VSC will only be issued to the products for which the MTCTE Certificate is already issued by TEC as it is a mandatory requirement to have the MTCTE certificate for the products before proceeding the offline submission for Voluntary certification scheme.
